On May 15th 2015, a dolphin was added to the fountain.

The bridge was destroyed and replaced with a pedestrian bridge.

Daniel Wade Acraman had a large iron works at the site of the General Hospital and present Iron Foundry.
Acraman was responsible for building the Acraman Warehouse in 1831, a building which today houses the Arnolfini.
A ferry was established by Acraman across the New Cut, near the City Gaol, replaced by the pedestrian Goal Ferry Bridge in 1934.
